Our 150th Anniversary celebration will be here before we know it and we have a lot of work to do to polish up our garden.
Join us for Garden Work Days, every Tuesday after school. Or, if it works better for you to stop in as your schedule allows, here’s a list of tasks we need help with:
- Pick up trash (bring your own trash bag)
- Collect and break down fallen twigs and branches (bring your own yard waste bag)
- Rake and bag leaves
- Cut back the Maiden Grass (by the pond, and by the entrance on 67t street)
- Help spread remaining mulch (anywhere there’s not plants growing)
And plan to join us for Prairie Garden Clean-up Day Saturday, April 16th to help us with these other projects:
- Install new garden signs
- Touch-up paint on garden shed
- Re-install fallen bird houses
- Prune Boxwoods
- Powerwash concrete
- Fresh stain on compost bins
Our garden is a treasure other schools don’t have – help us preserve this amazing educational resource for our students and future Prairie families.
