This role is the hub of all PTA efforts. The President provides support to all other Exec members, develops and implements the PTA activities calendar and is the voice of the board.
In addition to the monthly Exec meetings, the President and Co-President meet with the Prairie Principal monthly to discuss school business and upcoming events. And, both Presidents help manage inquiries/responses for the [email protected] email.
This position is a three year commitment: one year as President-elect, one as active President and the one as Past President/Advisor.
The purpose of the Co-Presidents Elect is to shadow the current Presidents. They also provide support to the Exec board members and are vital in helping to recruit and select the follow year’s Exec board.

This role involves attending and recording all business, discussion and voting outcomes at Exec board meetings and sending to the PTA Co-Presidents.
This role manages and oversees the weekly Newsletter, PTA website content and updates and works closely with the PTA President and Co-President to craft all PTA communications. Committees that fall under this role:
