The Junior Master Gardeners (JMG) will be honoring Barbara Montague in the garden Thursday at 4:10. She was the founder of the Johnson County JMGs and the leader for Prairie’s JMG chapter for over 10 years – she passed away this summer. Two birdhouses will be placed in the garden: one donated by Johnson County JMG and the other from Prairie’s JMG.
Please join us this Thursday for a moving tribute to a woman who was dedicated to promoting learning from nature, and inspired many with her genuine kindness and willingness to help others.
