Prairie Experience Fund

Prairie has a long-standing tradition of offering its students unique growth opportunities. Programs like ROAD (Reach Out And Dance) help students experience dance in a new way, and Wildwood (a 3-day outdoor adventure camp) and Village People (where they work with businesses in the Village) foster teamwork and introduce students to entrepreneurship.

In past years, these programs have been funded by individual donations and 5th grade fundraising. In an effort to alleviate the burden on any one grade we’ve created the Prairie Experience Fund to fund these programs. The following fundraisers will feed directly into this fund:

  • Fall & Spring Movie Nights
  • Pancake Breakfasts
  • Scrips
  • Father/Daughter & Mother/Son Dances
  • Class Projects
  • Poinsettia Sale

Proceeds from these events will fund 3rd Grade Box City, 4th Grade Publishing and ROAD, and 6th Grade Events including Wildwood, Village People, Graduation and a Class Gift.

Help us keep this enrichment possible for our students by participating in these events.
