Kansas PTA Advocacy Day will be Tuesday, February 19.
Join the effort to speak for Kansas kids. You don’t have to be an expert, just a caring parent, to make an impact!
With the In Person-In Topeka Game Plan we are encouraging every PTA member from across the state, to arrange a meeting with your legislators in Topeka on Tuesday, February 19. Members of the Kansas PTA advocacy team will also be meeting with key legislative leaders that day. Go for an hour or the day. If you have questions or need help coming up with what to say, you can contact Melinda Lewis, Prairie legislative liaison: [email protected] or 816-806-6094.
For those members who can’t make it in person to the capitol that day, there is another option, the Email Participation Game Plan. To unite with fellow PTA members on the ground in Topeka, please make a phone call, send an email, twitter, or text!
Need legislator contact information? – use the “Contact my legislator” link on the Legislative Tab of the Kansas PTA website. You will need to input your home address.
