On behalf of the PTA, we would like to welcome you to the start of another wonderful year at Prairie Elementary. We look forward to kicking off the school year with the first of many fun events and community activities on Thursday, August 7th (4:30-6:00) at the Ice Cream Social. This is a great opportunity to not only meet your teachers and explore the classrooms, but also to sign up for a PTA membership and learn about the many ways you and your kids can engage with the PTA. There will be signups available for the Garden Committee, the Bakers & Hospitality Committee, and afterschool activities for the kids including Chess Club, Jr. Master Gardeners, Lego League, and Mathletics.
Our PTA communications team will send a weekly newsletter throughout the year to all Prairie families starting Sunday, August 3rd.
