It was an afternoon of old-fashioned fun at our 150th Fair! Root beer floats, pony rides, face-painting and of course our annual Mr. Coleman Pie in the Face. Students got to see a blacksmith in action and took turns churning butter, painting a fence and using a washboard. The old-time Jazz Band helped punctuate the end of our fantastic celebration.

The Fair was the perfect ending to a year-long commemoration of Prairie’s 150th year. And behind every great event is a long list of volunteers who helped bring it to life. Thank you to our 150th Planning Committee, who worked many hours to plan every detail:

And thank you to the many Prairie parents, friends and families who helped us staff this community event. We are so grateful for you all, and so thankful to be a part of this remarkable school.
